Healthy
CHILDCare is a bimonthly publication for childcare
programs devoted to health and safety issues. Each issue
includes information on health, safety, medicines, staff
health, health education activities, illnesses, and
more, including reproducible parent information sheets
and mini-posters, with each issue of the magazine
containing approximately one hour of *training".
Healthy
CHILDCare is reviewed by members of the American School
Health Association Council on Early Childhood Health
Education and Services. In each issue, you'll find
articles from nationally recognized early childhood
education professionals, pediatricians, nurses,
registered dietitians, health educators, and childcare
health consultants.
If
you provide childcare staff training, order the Health
and Safety Resource Guide along with Healthy
CHILDCare. This two-page insert mailed with the
magazine includes a complete training outline on a
health/safety topic along with dozens of resources that
are available for low or no-cost.
Healthy
CHILDCare
is looking for qualified authors, such as physicians, nurses, and
childcare health consultants, who are familiar with the needs and interests of
childcare providers. For more information on
submitting manuscripts contact Dr.
Charlotte Hendricks.
