STRESS MANAGEMENT

Stress management for teachers, child caregivers, and volunteers is an important issue.  Too much stress not only can affect your health, but also the quality of care you provide to children.  Help teachers recognize specific stressors in their jobs, share ideas on ways minimize stressors, and explore stress management techniques.
Warning--you must have a sense of humor to provide
this training!

PROMOTING MENTAL HEALTH

Development of mental health begins the moment we are born.  As infants, toddlers, and preschoolers grow, they respond to people, relationships, and day-to-day interactions.  A consistent nurturing and supportive environment is the foundation of mental health throughout life.  Help teachers and families understand how they can nurture and promote mental health in young children every day.
