When to Call the Doctor

This program is designed to help parents and caregivers recognize signs and symptoms that indicate illness or injury in young children, and which might indicate a need for medical attention. It is not intended for diagnosis or treatment purposes. Caregivers should always contact their health consultant or a health care provider. Content includes finding a "medical home;" preventive care, immunizations, and check-ups; signs and symptoms that indicate a need for medical attention, or emergency medical help; injuries; allergic reactions; and dental health.
